Paradise Beach

Mehdi (Sami Bouajila) walks out of prison after fifteen years for a bank robbery, with one thing left on his mind: his share of the money. He flies to Phuket, where his old crew, now respectable traders led by Hicham (Tewfik Jallab), has settled into easy days in the south of Thailand. They never expected to see him again. Xavier Durringer films the island in hard sunlight and keeps the pace tight, so the heat feels like a clock running down.
