Paradise Now

“From the most unexpected place, come a new call for peace”

In Nablus, two childhood friends work as car mechanics. Said (Qais Nashif) and Khaled (Ali Suliman) are told one day that they have been chosen for a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, and that it is happening now. Hany Abu-Assad follows them through their last hours, and Said, quiet and watchful, has to decide what he owes everyone he is about to leave.
