Parched

“All it took was the first act of courage.”

In a village in the arid landscape of Rajasthan, four women live inside the rules of the men around them. Rani (Tannishtha Chatterjee) is a widow raising a difficult son, while Lajjo (Radhika Apte) endures a husband who beats her, and the two lean on each other for company. Leena Yadav follows Rani and Lajjo as each tries to claim a little room of her own.
