Parental Guidance

The kindness in her aunt Solange's (Denise Aron-Schropfer) house feels wrong, though nobody names it. Mimi (Sandra Sammartino) is ten when her mother is confined to a mental hospital and she is sent to live with Solange and Jean-Pierre (Michel Trillot), who is a little too nice to her. Lucile Hadžihalilović keeps the focus on Mimi, a quiet child who watches the grown-ups and has no one to tell.
