Parental Guidance

“Here come the grandparents. There go the rules.”

Artie (Billy Crystal) and Diane Decker (Bette Midler) barely know their three grandchildren, so when their daughter Alice (Marisa Tomei) needs to leave town for work, the ask comes as a surprise. The kids run on schedules, allergy rules and careful praise, while Artie and Diane run on instinct. Andy Fickman keeps the camera in the house with the family, and the comedy comes out of the clash between the two ways of raising a child.
