Paris 36
“Music halls, romance, and danger. This is Paris, 1936.”
In the spring of 1936, Paris is uneasy, with Léon Blum newly elected and the unions testing their strength. Christophe Barratier follows Germain Pigoil (Gérard Jugnot), Milou (Clovis Cornillac) and Jacky Jacquet (Kad Merad), working men who keep a struggling music hall going. They have a stage and a young singer named Douce (Nora Arnezeder), and if the hall closes, the people in it lose their work.
