Paris Can Wait

Anne Lockwood (Diane Lane) is leaving Cannes with her husband's business associate, Jacques Clement (Arnaud Viard), for a drive to Paris that should take seven hours. Eleanor Coppola, making her first narrative feature after a career in documentaries, lets the trip run to two days of detours, long lunches and wine. Anne has spent years as the wife of a busy movie producer, and the road gives her room to notice what she has wanted all along.
