Paris or Perish

Maya (Reem Kherici) is a stylist in Paris, working for one of the city's trendsetters and living the fashion-world life she always wanted. Then a speeding stop reveals her visa expired long ago, and within a day she is deported to Morocco and back with her family. Reem Kherici directs and stars, and the film leaves Maya in a country she barely knows, her mind still fixed on Paris and the work she was doing there.
