Parkland

“November 22, 1963, 12:38 pm - A trauma patient is rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. His name is President John F. Kennedy.”

Jim Carrico (Zac Efron), a young resident at Dallas's Parkland Hospital, wants only to get through another shift on November 22, 1963, until the President is wheeled into his emergency room. Peter Landesman follows nurse Doris Nelson (Marcia Gay Harden) and Abraham Zapruder (Paul Giamatti), the man holding the camera, almost in real time. Between the doctors and the strangers around them, there is only shared shock, and nobody knows what to say.
