Why won't Virginia Embrey marry Jeffrey Haywood (Reginald Denny)? Because her older sister Angelica (Dorothy Christy) has to go first, and Angelica finds every man she knows dull. Jeff's fix is to pass off the timid Reggie Irving (Buster Keaton) as a notorious playboy, then hand him to his friend Polly (Charlotte Greenwood) for lessons. Edward Sedgwick sets it in 1931, with Keaton standing stiff and wide-eyed in the middle of her instructions.
