Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran

Capt. Ashwat Raina (John Abraham) is a civil servant who wants India to have a working nuclear bomb, and he has the plan to build one. Abhishek Sharma follows his team as they prepare the second Pokhran test series in 1998, under Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam leading the effort. The film treats secrecy as its own pressure, asking how a country keeps a bomb hidden.
