Partners

“Benson is a cop who wants to clean up the streets...his partner just wants to redecorate.”

Sgt. Benson (Ryan O'Neal) gets pulled off his usual beat and told to pose as half of a gay couple, because someone is killing men in Los Angeles's gay community. His new partner is Kerwin (John Hurt), a records clerk who has never worked the street and is gay in real life. James Burrows sets them up in a shared apartment, Benson stiff in the doorway, Kerwin already unpacking.
