“There's a new librarian in town!”

Mary (Parker Posey) has no real income and still manages to be at a club every night, until a raid on an illegal rave she threw puts her in handcuffs. Her bail comes from her aunt Judy, who then gets her a clerk's job at the library to work off the debt. Daisy von Scherler Mayer sets Mary's fast, loud friendships against the quiet of the stacks, and Mary's closest tie is with Leo (Guillermo Díaz), her friend and fellow regular on the scene.
