Paruthiveeran

Nobody in the village can say why Muththazhagu (Priyamani) keeps loving her cousin Paruthiveeran (Karthi), a drifting, quarrelsome tough who gives her nothing back. Ameer, directing Karthi in his first film, sets their story among relatives who want it ended and a young man whose own reckless nature works against him. Every step toward her puts her family, his name and her safety on the line.
