Passchendaele

Sergeant Michael Dunne (Paul Gross), a Canadian soldier of the 10th Battalion who has fought in every major battle his division has seen, is sent into the mud at Passchendaele. Gross wrote, directed and stars, building the film from stories his own grandfather brought home from the First World War. Back in Alberta, Michael has Sarah Mann (Caroline Dhavernas), and the war keeps pulling him away from her.
