Paterno

“The greater the legend, the harder the fall.”

Joe Paterno (Al Pacino) has coached Penn State football for decades and become the winningest coach in college football history, and all he wants is to finish out his career on his own terms. Then the Jerry Sandusky abuse scandal breaks, and his wife Sue (Kathy Baker) watches the questions about what the university knew close in around him. Barry Levinson, directing for HBO, keeps the camera on Pacino's face as the 2011 dismissal approaches.
