Patriots Day

(2016)Directed by Peter Berg133 min · RAction, Crime, Drama, History, Thriller
“The inside story of the world's greatest manhunt.”

Two bombs go off near the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon, and nobody yet knows who set them or whether there are more. Sgt. Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) is pulled into a hunt alongside Commissioner Ed Davis (John Goodman) and FBI agent Richard DesLauriers (Kevin Bacon), with the clock running. Peter Berg builds it from the book Boston Strong, and Saunders keeps moving through the crowd, the barricades, the people still waiting at the finish.
