Paulette

Paulette (Bernadette Lafont) lives alone in a housing project in the Paris suburbs, and her pension no longer covers what she owes. She needs money and she needs it soon, which pulls her toward a line of work she has never tried and shows little shame about. Jérôme Enrico places her beside Maria (Carmen Maura), Lucienne (Dominique Lavanant) and Renée (Françoise Bertin), her tower block close behind them.
