Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank

“Time to mark some territory.”

Hank (Michael Cera), a hound down on his luck, wanders into a village of cats that needs a hero against Ika Chu (Ricky Gervais), a landlord plotting to wipe the whole place off the map. The villagers hand the job of town samurai to the dog, and Jimbo (Samuel L. Jackson), a reluctant mentor, has to train him. Rob Minkoff and Chris Bailey build the story on the odd pairing of a nervous underdog and a teacher who doesn't want the work.
