Paycheck

“The future depends on a past he was paid to forget.”

Michael Jennings (Ben Affleck) finishes a three-year job for a tech firm run by James Rethrick (Aaron Eckhart), then wakes with the whole stretch wiped from his head and no paycheck waiting. All he gets is an envelope of small, ordinary objects that he must piece together, with the FBI now hunting him. John Woo sends him running after his own forgotten past, a story about what a person is without the memory of what he has done.
