Peaceful Warrior

“There are no ordinary moments.”

Dan Millman (Scott Mechlowicz), a gymnast at U.C. Berkeley with an Olympic future ahead of him, keeps stopping at a gas station late at night and talking to the attendant who works there. The man calls himself Socrates (Nick Nolte), and he has a habit of picking apart everything Dan believes about winning. Victor Salva sets their talks under the station's lights, a young athlete and an older stranger standing on the empty forecourt.
