Pearl Harbor

“It takes a moment to change history. It takes love to change lives.”

Two fighter pilots who grew up as close as brothers, Rafe McCawley (Ben Affleck) and Danny Walker (Josh Hartnett), both fall for the same Navy nurse, Evelyn Johnson (Kate Beckinsale), and the friendship starts to give way. Then the morning of December 7, 1941 arrives, and Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor puts all three in its path. Michael Bay stages the assault on a huge scale, with the planes, the ships and the men on the ground all moving at once.
