Peçanha Contra o Animal opens in a crime-ridden Brazilian underworld of nightclubs, where Peçanha (Antonio Tabet) is a man trying to make himself a name against a very dangerous opponent. Vinicius Videla keeps the pace loose and the crime story played completely straight by a cast that includes Pedro Benevides as Mesquita. Fábio de Luca's Delegado sits at his desk while Evelyn Castro's Xayane crosses the room.
