Peculiarities of the National Hunt

Raivo (Ville Haapasalo), a young Finn, comes to Russia to study the customs of the traditional hunt, notebook ready, expecting a ritual with rules. His hosts are a general named Mikhalych (Aleksei Buldakov), a police detective, a forest ranger devoted to Zen Buddhism, and some St. Petersburg city men, and the hunting soon gives way to drinking and local farm girls. Aleksandr Rogozhkin lets the party drift from one table and one cheerful argument to the next.
