Pedro Paramo

Comala should be full of people, but Juan Preciado walks into a town that looks abandoned, with voices and whispers coming from nowhere he can see. He has come to claim his inheritance from his father Pedro Páramo (John Gavin), after the death of his mother Dolores. Carlos Velo, working from Juan Rulfo's short novel and a screenplay partly by Carlos Fuentes, films the place as a dream the living cannot wake from.
