Pee Mak

“The legendary love story of pee mak and his ghost wife nak.”

Mak (Mario Maurer) comes home from the war to his wife Nak (Davika Hoorne), and his four army friends go quiet when they see her. They have heard the village talk, and they set out to convince him that the woman waiting in his house is not what she appears to be. Banjong Pisanthanakun lets the jokes pile up around the old Nak legend, and the pale, patient Nak keeps cooking and waiting for him in the house.
