Pelé: Birth of a Legend

“A boy with nothing who changed everything.”

A boy from a poor Brazilian family wants to play football for a living, and he has the feet for it. Younger Pelé (Leonardo Lima Carvalho) grows into the teenager Pelé (Kevin de Paula), and his father Dondinho (Seu Jorge) stays close to him on the road toward the 1958 World Cup. Brothers Jeff and Michael Zimbalist, who directed and wrote it, keep the film on what passes between father and son.
