“The world’s most beautiful bank-robber”

Penelope (Natalie Wood) is married to a banker, James B. Elcott (Ian Bannen), and she wants his attention, which he keeps giving to his work instead. So she puts on a disguise and robs his bank, then tells her psychiatrist, Dr. Gregory Mannix (Dick Shawn), what she did. Arthur Hiller sets the caper going while the money is out of the vault, her husband still doesn't notice her, and the police are getting close.
