Penny Dreadful

“Don't forget to breathe...”

Penny Deerborn (Rachel Miner) has not been able to ride in a car since a childhood trauma, so her psychologist, Orianna Volkes (Mimi Rogers), drives her out on a retreat meant to break the phobia. The trip starts as therapy and ends with the two of them stuck together on the road with a hitchhiker. Richard Brandes keeps nearly the whole film inside the car, and Penny stays in the seat she has dreaded for years.
