On a summer Sunday in Berlin, Wolfgang, a wine shop sales assistant (Wolfgang von Waltershausen), and Erwin, a taxi driver (Erwin Splettstößer), head out of the city with Brigitte (Brigitte Borchert) and Christl (Christl Ehlers). Robert Siodmak and Edgar G. Ulmer cast amateurs in their own ordinary jobs and shot on real streets with a small budget. Annie (Annie Schreyer), a model, stays behind in bed.
