Pepe El Toro

Pepe "El Toro" (Pedro Infante) steps into the professional boxing ring to earn a living for the people who depend on him. Ismael Rodríguez sets the story among poor neighbors who share what little they have and look after one another, and the fights take a toll on all of them. Chachita (Evita Muñoz) is his daughter, and the loyalty running between the two is what the rest of the film leans on.
