“"excuse me... who are you?"”

Mima Kirigoe (Junko Iwao) walks out of her pop group and into acting, taking a small part on a detective show. Soon the people around her career start turning up murdered, and visions of her old stage self follow her through the day. Satoshi Kon lets what Mima sees blur into what is real, and each new death leaves her less sure of her own mind and in more danger.
