When his neighbor Hwa-sun (Lee Yo-won) kills her abusive ex-husband, the mathematics teacher Suk-go (Ryoo Seung-bum) works out a cover-up for her, treating the crime like a problem to be solved. Pang Eun-jin sets his quiet calculations against Detective Min-bum (Cho Jin-woong), who starts pulling at the case and does not let go. Suk-go has loved Hwa-sun in secret for a long time, and everything he has built rests on her staying safe.
