Eva (Cecilia Suárez) hosts a dinner for her closest friends, a group that has known one another for years, including Antonio (Bruno Bichir) and Flora (Mariana Treviño). Someone proposes a game: every phone goes face up on the table, and every text, email and call gets read out loud. Manolo Caro, adapting the 2016 Italian film, keeps nearly everything at that one table, where the ringing of a phone becomes the only thing anyone is watching.
