Perhaps Love

Sun Na (Zhou Xun) is an actress who made her name in China, and she now stars in a musical shot on the mainland, opposite Lin Jian-Dong (Takeshi Kaneshiro), the leading man she once loved. Behind the camera sits Nie Wen (Jacky Cheung Hok-yau), the director who stands between them. Peter Chan stages the musical numbers in bright color, and the two leads sing across a set that holds more than the script.
