“The end of everything begins...”

Makoto Yuki (Akira Ishida) steps off the train into a new city with his headphones on, and then the clock stops. The people around him turn into coffins, and he learns this hidden minute past midnight is called the Dark Hour, when Shadows come out. Noriaki Akitaya and Tomohisa Taguchi put him in the middle of Yukari (Megumi Toyoguchi) and Junpei (Kohsuke Toriumi), with a gun-shaped Evoker aimed at his own head.
