In the days after her grandmother's death, eight-year-old Nelly (Joséphine Sanz) goes with her parents to clear out the house her mother grew up in. Walking in the woods behind it, she meets a girl her own age, Marion (Gabrielle Sanz), who looks strangely familiar. Céline Sciamma keeps the two of them small against the trees, and they stay there, playing and talking in the woods.
