Phaedra

Phaedra Kyrilis (Melina Mercouri) is the young second wife of a shipping magnate so rich his name opens every door. She is sent to bring home his estranged son, Alexis (Anthony Perkins), and the first meeting leaves a spark between them already. Jules Dassin follows them to Paris, where Phaedra persuades Alexis to meet his father, and the whole Kyrilis fortune rests on a family that cannot go on pretending.
