Phantom of the Opera

Beneath the Paris Opera, a masked figure has begun making demands on behalf of Christine Dubois (Susanna Foster), a young soprano who has no idea who is paying for her lessons. He is Erique Claudin (Claude Rains), a composer ruined by an accident. Arthur Lubin sets two men against each other for Christine, the baritone Anatole Garron (Nelson Eddy) and the policeman Raoul D'Aubert (Edgar Barrier), while the Phantom insists her voice is his alone.
