Phase IV

“The day the Earth was turned into a cemetery!”

In the Arizona desert, the local ants have started acting strangely, building tall towers and ignoring the old rules of the food chain. Dr. Ernest D. Hubbs (Nigel Davenport) and James R. Lesko (Michael Murphy) set up a sealed research station to study them, while the Eldridge family, including Kendra (Lynne Frederick), lives nearby. Saul Bass, a graphic designer by trade, treats the ants as a force that does not need a reason to take the land back.
