Philanthropy

“The extended hand that does not tell a story does not receive alms.”

Ovidiu Gorea (Mircea Diaconu) teaches high school in Bucharest, and his salary will never cover a Saturday evening out with a beautiful woman. So he goes looking for money and ends up inside the city's beggar mob, run by Pavel Puiuț (Gheorghe Dinică). Nae Caranfil plays the whole thing as a deadpan comedy about corruption and greed, and about how to get a free meal in a fancy restaurant.
