Phileine Says Sorry

Max (Michiel Huisman), a young Dutch actor who loves his work and women in about equal measure, meets Phileine (Kim van Kooten) in a park in Utrecht. She won't give him a straight answer about anything, least of all what she wants from him. Robert Jan Westdijk follows the two of them from Utrecht toward New York, where Max has a year at a theatre course waiting and Phileine, who refused to come, turns up anyway.
