“Some love stories last beyond a lifetime”

Kanan (Suraj Sharma) is about to marry Anu (Mehreen Pirzada) when his family learns that bad luck hangs over his love life. The fix is a wedding to a tree first, and the tree turns out to hold a spirit with unfinished business. Anshai Lal sets Shashi (Anushka Sharma) among the branches, a restless presence that Kanan cannot send away, and a groom who did not plan on any of it.
