Phoebe in Wonderland

“Dare to dream your life.”

Phoebe Lichten (Elle Fanning) is a little girl who can't make herself follow the rules at school, and what she wants is somewhere she's allowed to be herself. She finds it in the drama class of Miss Dodger (Patricia Clarkson), who is casting a production of Alice in Wonderland, while her mother Hillary (Felicity Huffman) is struggling at home. Daniel Barnz writes a child whose odd behavior has no tidy name, and the adults around her have to decide what to call it.
