Why does a mansion in 1940s Turkey hold a different family in every room, while a war burns just across the border? Tunç Başaran moves through the house from door to door, following Kerim (Rutkay Aziz), Kamile (Serap Aksoy) and the neighbors who share its walls. They have very little, and the film is about how people with so little keep reaching for hope.
