Piazza Fontana: The Italian Conspiracy

On December 12, 1969, a bomb goes off inside the Piazza Fontana national bank in Milan and kills 17 people. The police and the press settle on the local anarchists, among them Giuseppe Pinelli (Pierfrancesco Favino), and Luigi Calabresi (Valerio Mastandrea) leads the investigation. Marco Tullio Giordana stays with Calabresi as he works through the file, a man at a desk with the Years of Lead just beginning outside his door.
