Picking Up the Pieces

“A comedy that is not afraid to point the finger.”

In a small New Mexican village, a severed hand turns up and the townspeople take it for a miracle of God. It actually belonged to a murdered wife, and her husband Tex Cowley (Woody Allen) is out looking for it. Alfonso Arau sets Allen and Sharon Stone as Candy Cowley against a village that has found its faith in the wrong place.
