Picnic

“I know when the world will end.”

Coco (Chara), Tsumuji (Tadanobu Asano) and Satoru (Koichi Hashizume) are patients at a mental asylum, and they have read a line in the Bible as a sign that the world ends today. They climb out and walk along the tops of the city's walls, looking for a spot with the best view of it. Shunji Iwai follows the three of them as a plain question of what a person does when told there is only one day left.
