Pigs and Battleships

Kinta (Hiroyuki Nagato) is a low-level yakuza hustler in Yokosuka, a port town still living off the American military after the occupation. He wants out, and he wants Haruko (Jitsuko Yoshimura) with him, but the gang that employs him controls the black market trade that feeds them both. Shōhei Imamura puts the two of them between the mob and the money, where one wrong move costs them each other.
