Pink Cadillac

“It takes a real man to bring in a lady in a pink Cadillac.”

The film opens on the road in 1989, where Tommy Nowak (Clint Eastwood), a skip tracer, is hired to track down Lou Ann McGuinn (Bernadette Peters), a bail-jumper running in her husband's pink Cadillac. Her baby has been taken by Birthright, the thugs her husband Roy (Timothy Carhart) runs with. Buddy Van Horn, a longtime stunt coordinator for Eastwood, directs the chase as a loose, crowd-pleasing run through roadside America.
